Registration Policies

Graduate students are expected to register online through the http://my.ufl.edu/ website the during the advanced registration period.

Graduate students wishing to register for a departmentally controlled course (EEL 6971, 6972, 7979, 7980) for the following term must contact the Student Services Office before the last day of class of the current semester.  Students waiting until break week or the regular registration period immediately preceding the first day of class run the risk of not being registered on time and being assessed a late registration.

There are some graduate level courses taught by other departments that are not acceptable towards satisfying degree requirements (ex: MMC 6936 - Web Skills 4 Everyone).  Before registering for the courses, the student must have the course approved.

Students on graduate assistantship or fellowship must register for the appropriate number of hours required for that assistantship or fellowship. Students registering for more than the minimum hours required for the fee waiver will be liable for the fees for the excess hours.

It is the responsibility of the student to determine the correct amount of fees to be paid. The chart below is only for students on an appointment with an out-of-state tuition waiver.
