Admission Requirement for EE Majors

It is the department's policy to admit the best qualified applicants as demonstrated by high academic achievement. Successful applicants have earned a 2.5 grade point average, based on all attempts, in the eight pre-professional courses and have earned a grade of C+ or higher in each course of calculus 1, calculus 2, calculus 3, differential equations, physics with calculus 1 and physics with calculus 2.

Only the first two attempts will be considered for admission to or retention in the department. An attempt includes withdrawals, drops, or audits.

Six of the eight courses must be completed or are in the process of being completed before a student can be admitted.  Physics with Calculus I (PHY 2048) must be one of the six courses.
