IEEE Student Chapter Performs Well at Annual Conference

The members of the UF IEEE Student Chapter did very well at this year's Region 3 Southeast Conference. They competed against 39 other universities placing first in the student paper and design presentation competitions, second place in the software and ethics competitions and third in the hardware competition.  They placed in a record five out of seven competitions. SoutheastCon is the annual IEEE Region 3 Technical, Professional, and Student Conference. The conference brings together engineering and science professionals, faculty, and students to share the latest information through technical sessions, tutorials, and exhibits.
