Contracts and Grants Office
What Do We Do?
- review and assist principal investigator in preparation of proposals
- coordinate submission of proposals
- review contractual documents for compliance with Florida Statutes, College of Engineering, and University policies including patent rights, proprietary/confidentiality, publications, liability/insurance, reporting
- act as liaison with, and respond to, agency's requests during proprosal review and analysis
- develop and implement contract/grant administrative procedures
- interpret regulations and guidelines to insure requirements are met
- coordinate auditing investigations and responses with granting agency auditors
- analyze the review, application, and/or adminsitration of grant programs
- prepare and negotiate contracts
