Description of Individual of Student Assessments


Assessment in two designated courses of individual assignments targeted to each particular Student Learning Outcome (SLO). Students are assessed at the beginning and end of their curriculum.

Each SLO is evaluated on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 = outstanding, 3 = acceptable and 1 = not achieved.

Assessment is provided by the instructor of the course according to departmental standards. Students must achieve a score of 3 or higher on at least two of the assessment scores in order to demonstrate achievement of the SLO. The courses to be used for assessment purposes are:
