Are You a Rising Senior or Junior in High School? Are You Interested in Robotics or Artificial Intelligence? Apply Now to Participate in the ECE Virtual Summer Research Experience, July 6–16
The goal of this free-of-charge virtual summer research experience is to introduce high school students to research activities in science and technology through active participation and hands-on, real-world experience. The program will consist of short virtual lectures, design, assembling, and programming taught by ECE Florida faculty. The days will run 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Students enrolled in any high school are eligible to participate. Students must be US citizens or permanent residents. Students from historically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.
- The research experience is free of charge.
- Students may be required to purchase material (TI-RSLK Basic Kit for $109) for their experiment at a reasonable cost.
- Students must be rising juniors or seniors, and have a good understanding of STEM topics.
- Students can choose between activities in machine learning or robotics.
Apply using the online form. All applications must be submitted by June 30, EOB. Students will be notified by email by June 15.
