Undergrads Win Student Design Contest

Mark Parrish and Jordan Street, won the 2014 IEEE Industrial Applications Society Myron Zucker Undergraduate Student Design Contest. They entered their GatorPilot project which also won them fellowship awards in our ECE senior design competition in the spring semester.

This award includes the following:

•An IEEE IAS certificate

•An $800 team cash award ($400 per member)

•An IEEE IAS certificate and a $500 cash award for the ECE department

•Complimentary registration for the students to attend the 2014 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting (5-9 October in Vancouver, BC Canada)

•Complimentary lodging at the 2014 Annual Meeting

•The opportunity to present the project at a special Student Session held during the 2014 Annual Meeting

•Up to $2000 USD reimbursement (per team) for travel expenses associated with attending the 2014 Annual Meeting (excluding meals)
