Graduate Student Finds a Faculty Position

Mr. Yuanxiong Guo, a grduate student supervised by Dr. Michael Fang and Dr. Pramod Khargonekar, has accepted an assistant professor position in the area of smart grid in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oklahoma State University. Congratulations!

Dr. Fang delivered keynote at WASA'2013

Dr. Michael Fang delivered a keynote on 9 August, 20013, at the 8th International Conference on Wireless Algorithms, Systems, and Applications (WASA'2013), 7-10 August, 2013, Zhangjiajie, China (http://wasa2013.org/keynote_speaker.htm).  WASA is an international conference on algorithms, systems, and applications of wireless networks. It is motivated by the recent advances in cutting-edge electronic and computer technologies that have paved the way for the proliferation of ubiquitous infrastructure and infrastructureless wireless networks.

Dr. Fang delivered keynote at IEEE/CIC ICCC'2013

Dr. Michael Fang delivered a keynote on 13 August, 2013, at IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China, 12-14 August 2013 (http://www.ieee-iccc.org/) held in Xi'an, China. IEEE/CIC ICCC2013 is the second event of a newly incubated international conference series by the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) in partnership with the China Institute of Communications (CIC) aiming at realistic globalization by extending ComSoc’s reach to the fastest growing regions. China has been experiencing a huge economic expansion in the past decade and is becoming one of the key players worldwide in both manufacturing and research and development in telecommunications technologies. ICCC aims to create a great research exchange venue for extending the collaborations between international researchers in the field with the leading regional research institutes in China.The conference is held every year in the greater China region.
