EE STUDENTS WIN AWARD FOR HIGH SENSITIVITY RADAR, SUMMER 2014
Five UF Electrical Engineering students win third place at the International Microwave Symposium which took place in Tampa, FL . The team is pictured from left to right: Tien-Yu Huang, Jianxuan Tu, Chien-Ming Nieh, Changyu Wei, Meiyu Li . They were recognized for the High Sensitivity Radar competition with a final system weighing only 6 grams that featured a miniature antenna and coupler. Student attendees and competition participants had the opportunity to meet other students, professors, and professional engineers from all over the world to share their experiences and problem solve design issues.
