The Devices division includes research in:

  • Optoelectronics (lasers, solar cells, detectors)
  • Transistors (SiGe, MIS, III-V)
  • MEMS (Microelectromechanical systems), including mechanical, optical, and biological sensors
  • Nanodevice concepts (CNT, Molecular, Silicon-based)

Research in the Devices division focuses both on how materials interact with voltage, current, photons, and radiation as well as the current-voltage relationship of device structures.
