The mission of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is to offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs in electrical and computer engineering and to conduct research which serves the needs of Florida and the nation.  With over 600 enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, the ECE department is one of the largest academic units at the University of Florida.   The ECE department offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering (CEE- Hardware Emphasis).  The department also offers a Master of Engineering, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering.  The ECE department's large size is one of its key assets.  With 41 faculty and over $14 million in annual research expenditures, ECE at the University of Florida is able to provide students with diverse and high quality educational and research experiences.
