Download instructions for installing Ansys EDT on local resources. License checkout will require your local machine to connect to a campus network after installation.

• VPN to campus or connect to a wired/wireless network on campus
• Browse using Windows Explorer to : \\ece-filesvr-01.ad.ufl.edu\Common\Departments\ECEL\Downloads\Ansys
• When prompted for username/password use UFL credentials where username = UFAD\username (example: UFAD\albert)
• Extract the ELECTRONICS_2022R2_WINX64.ZIP file to a local folder
• Double-click the “autorun” executable within the extracted folder to begin the Electromagnetics Suite install
• Accept defaults, license server hostname is licsvr.ece.ufl.edu which you enter during the installation, port is default (1055)
