The department awards six student awards to honor those in the department who are excelling in their work.
Nomination materials consist of the nominee’s CV and a one-page letter of support from the nominator highlighting activities. Award winners are not eligible for the same award for a period of five years. For the student research awards, one nominee for each level (undergraduate and graduate) should be submitted by the division chair. Please contact the chair of your division (Computer Engineering, Electronics, Signals and Systems, and Electrophysics) prior to the deadline to discuss the selection process within the division. Student nominees must be registered during the Spring 2023 semester.
